Installation in bathrooms
Bamboo is a plant with specific characteristics, almost completely rot-proof and with very long cellulose fibres: these properties mean that it has very little sensitivity to changes in temperature and humidity.
BambooTouch® flooring is particularly dense and stable, which is a major advantage for installation in bathrooms: the risk of swelling and deformation of the bamboo is almost zero.
he flooring strips will not move even if soaking wet.
Provided certain installation instructions are followed, the result is a floor particularly suited to wet rooms.
A varnish finish applied in the factory is strongly recommended: the varnish is applied uniformly to the 6 surfaces of the flooring strips, in 7 layers dried under UV. If the strips are cut during installation, the cut surface must then be varnished.
Thus protected, a bamboo floor laid in a bathroom will remain in good condition for a long time.
