Care instructions for coated flooring

Care and initial cleaning after installation
BambooTouch® varnished flooring is supplied ready to install. After laying, remove dust using a mop fitted with an anti-dust pad, or a vacuum cleaner. If the floor is very dusty, use a blue microfiber cloth and Mild Wood Floor Cleaner in a ready-to-use spray.
Regular cleaning
Depending on the amount of use, the flooring should be cleaned once or twice a week. Remove dust using a mop with an anti-dust pad, or a vacuum cleaner.
If the floor is only slightly dirty: dilute 5 capfuls of Parkett Cleaner detergent in 10 litres of warm water, and clean the floor with a mop and blue microfiber cloth. Leave to dry, there is no need to rinse.
If the floor is very dirty: dilute 10 capfuls of Parkett Cleaner detergent in 1 litre of water, and clean the floor with a mop and blue microfiber cloth. Leave to dry, there is no need to rinse.
Parkett Cleaner detergent is also available in a 1 litre ready-to-use spray.
NOTE: The flooring is very sensitive to liquids. It is, therefore, essential to use as little water as possible and to dry the floor well to prevent any water penetration.

Regular care
Depending on the level of stress on the flooring, it must be regularly protected with applying a Polish using a Mop and beige microfiber cloth, taking care to apply in the recommended quantities (1 litre for approx. 50 m²). Leave to dry. Wait 1 hour before walking on the surface. If necessary, apply a second coat.
Application of the Polish will slightly reduce the shine and alter the feel of the flooring, but will provide additional protection, and prolong its life.

Intensive cleaning
If the flooring is very dirty or dull, dilute 1 litre Parkett Remover in 5 litres of water. Apply this mixture using a clean cloth and taking care not to soak the flooring. Leave for 5 minutes, then rinse off carefully. Once dry, apply a coat of protective Polish.
NOTE: Use the minimum amount of water and ensure the flooring is properly dry after each application. It is very important not to leave any trace of Parkett Remover on the clean floor.

Localised repairs
Thanks to the Bona Naturale repair kit, localised repairs can be made to BambooTouch® floors treated with Bona Naturale UV. The repair kit contains two abrasive blocks, a roll of masking tape, two paint brushes, a bottle of BONA® Naturale Base and a bottle of BONA® Naturale.
The kit is simple to use: mark off the area to be repaired (stains, scratches, etc.) with the masking tape. Rub gently with the abrasive block, manually peel away the surface to be repaired. Apply two coats of BONA® Naturale, as indicated on the kit. The repair is invisible, and the flooring is as good as new.
To protect the surface against depression marks and scratches, put felt pads under the feet of chairs, tables and other items of furniture and plastic protection under swivel chairs. For areas larger than 50 m2, we recommend you use a Floor Mac electric floor buffer.
